December 11 Road conditions
At this time there is minor flooding on SR715 EAST of the inn, near the Mohawk Dam. If you are driving East on 36 there is a road closed sign at the intersection of 715 and 36. Ignore the sign and turn onto 715. The road is clear to the inn. If you are driving West on 36 you will not be able to come along 715. Continue on 36 for about 9 miles and turn right at the Western end of 715.

» Dayton or Indianapolis - Take I-70 East to Columbus and follow directions below
» Columbus - get to 670 or 270 and follow directions below
Take 670 East to 270 North. (Cleveland direction) This is an exit to the LEFT. Stay in the right lane - take the exit for 161 East - New Albany.
Take the exit for highway 62.
At the bottom of the ramp, turn left on 62 and go for about 30 miles to Martinsburg. Turn left to stay on US62.
About 8 miles past Martinsburg you'll see the sign for the town of Millwood. Then you go under a bridge. Take the next road on the left (it's called Bridge Street, but there is no street sign)**. This brings you around the corner to a stop sign. Turn left (East) on Rte. 36. Go for 1 1/4 miles. Turn left on SR715. The Inn is 2.8 miles, on the left. (**Note: This is not a mistake. Highways 36 and 62 do not intersect. If you are on 62 you have to take Bridge Street into the town of Millwood to get to highway 36)
From Cleveland:
Take I-71 South towards Columbus. At Mansfield, take the exit for Rte. 13 South to Mount Vernon. In Mount Vernon, turn left (East) on highway 36. Follow the signs through town for 36 East. Approximately 12 miles East of Mount Vernon, (1 1/4 miles past the town of Millwood) turn left on SR715. The Inn is 2.8 miles, on the left.
From Points East including Pittsburgh:
Take I-77 to Rte 36 West. At Coshocton, Rte. 36 takes a right turn - don't miss it! Stay on 36 West for approximately 17 more miles. At the top of a very long hill, watch for Rte. 206 - turn right on 206. Go for about 1 1/2 miles - at the stop sign, go left on SR715. The Inn is about 5 miles, on the right.
From Amish Country (including Akron & Canton):
From I-77 take OH39 West (The Sugar Creek/New Philadelphia exit)
OR follow OH62 South from Canton. Go to Millersburg. At the main traffic light in Millersburg, turn left onto OH 62. About 2 miles out of town, turn right on OH62 West.
Go for about 14 miles. Turn left on OH206. Go 10 miles to Walhonding. Turn right on SR715. The Inn is 4 miles, on the right.
From Toledo or Michigan:
Take I-75 South from Toledo. At Findlay, Ohio, take Routes 15 & 23 East to Marion. At Marion, take Route 95 East towards Fredericktown. Just before Fredericktown, take Rte. 13 South to Mount Vernon. In Mount Vernon, at approximately the fifth traffic light, follow the signs for SR36 East. (This will bring you around the town square, out the other end, and wind through town) Approximately 12 miles East of Mount Vernon (1 1/4 miles past the town of Millwood) turn left on SR715. The Inn is 2.8 miles, on the left.
From Kenyon College
Go NORTH on Chase Avenue (308) to US 36. Turn right (east) on 36. Go for about 8 miles. Go through the town of Millwood and about 1 1/4 miles later turn left on SR715. The Inn is 2.8 miles, on the left.
