Your perfect getaway starts here, at our Ohio Amish Country bed and breakfast, on a secluded country road in the heart of Ohio. Whether your idea of heaven is to sit back and do nothing or an action-packed weekend, you'll find it here. You can relax on the front porch swings and watch the hummingbirds and butterflies, join in one of our murder mysteries, go canoeing, golfing, cycling, or fishing, or drive around to discover wineries, shops, antiques, auctions, and many other attractions.

Conveniently located to explore Holmes County and Ohio's Amish area, and just a short drive from Columbus or Cleveland, our Danville, Ohio bed and breakfast is close to Kenyon College, Longaberger Basket headquarters, and historic Roscoe Village. The Kokosing Gap Trail and Mohican Valley Trail both start in nearby Danville. The area abounds with antique stores, cheese factories, furniture stores, wineries, quilt shops, and potteries.

Situated on 14 wooded private acres and surrounded by farms and conservation land, the inn offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature.

Breakfasts and dinners at the Inn are a memorable experience, with everything made fresh daily, featuring fresh in-season local produce and herbs and vegetables from the Inn's garden.

The main inn building is the former Crise family home, built with red and white oak cut on the property, and featuring rooms with generous proportions and large windows, and a fifty-foot-long front porch. The Inn's common room and dining room are in this building. The Guesthouse (formerly the chicken barn) features three cozy fireplace rooms each with a private entrance off the front porch. Two luxury log cabin cottages with fireplaces and two-person whirlpool tubs offer the ultimate private luxury getaway for special occasions like honeymoons and anniversaries.

Our wedding gazebo nestled in the pine trees provides a perfect romantic setting for elopements and weddings, or a delightful spot to enjoy a picnic for two.

We offer many different romance packages to enhance your stay, including flowers, chocolate-dipped strawberries, massages, and more.

At various times through the year, we have special events such as murder mysteries, a Spring nature weekend, and a Dickens Christmas Carol event.
Dougal, the inn dog, and Rascal, the inn cat, will welcome you at the front door. Well-behaved guest pets are welcome in two of our guesthouse rooms.

We're always delighted to host groups and special events such as family reunions, small weddings, or business retreats.

Whether it's for a romantic interlude or a fun time at one of our special events, come and escape to the middle of nowhere. The bottomless cookie jar is waiting.

In other news:    We've been very excited recently to see a large number of Bald Eagles along the river, and have heard there may be a new nest being built close to the inn.   It's wonderful to see these majestic birds coming back from the brink of extinction.

Anytime is a great time of year to visit Ohio's Amish country!
