FANTASTIC FRIDAYS

One night package for two includes overnight stay, dinner in our dining room, and a hearty country breakfast.   Available January 27, February 3,  February 24 or March 9.
$159 a couple for the Cherry, Oak, Maple or Poplar Rooms
$169 a couple for the Walnut, Ash or Willow Rooms
$189 a couple for the Redbud or Dogwood Rooms

Package includes a two-night stay in a queen room*, our hearty country breakfast each morning, and dinner for two one evening.
The cost is $275 for two guests.  (before taxes)
To take advantage of this offer you must purchase a voucher by January 31, 2011
Voucher can be used Sunday to Thursday nights up to July 31, 2012.    Blackout dates include Nov. 23 & 24, and Sunday nights of holiday weekends.

* Queen rooms are the Cherry, Oak, Maple and Poplar.    $20 additional charge for the Ash or Willow rooms.  

Two Night Getaway Packages

All prices below are for two guests in a room, unless otherwise indicated. Rates are before taxes. All overnight stays include a full breakfast in the inn dining room. A 15% gratuity on the value of the meals will be added to your bill for any lunches or dinners included in your package.

Our murder mysteries for 2012 will be on Saturday Jan. 21, Saturday Feb. 25, Saturday March 10, Saturday March 31 and Saturday April 14.

Romantic Dinner Basket - $100
Perfect for two lovers who just want to be alone together or a great solution for those who may not be sure whether they'll arrive in time for dinner in the dining room. Baskets include a hot crusty loaf, bottle of sparkling cider or juice, fruit and cheese, hot entree such as Roast Cornish Game Hens or Triple Cheese Baked Pasta, salad, dessert, cookies, and chocolate. We'll deliver to your room or cottage or one of the porches or decks.

The Romance Package - $75
Imagine the sparkle in that special somebody's eyes when they walk into the room and see a dozen roses in a vase, a bottle of sparkling cider chilling in a wine bucket, red silk rose petals scattered on the bed, and a box of fine chocolates on the pillow.

Girlfriends Getaway
Looking for a fun weekend for a group of your best buddies? Our Amish Country getaway package for four or more ladies includes a two-night stay, with a full breakfast each morning, selection of "chick flicks", popcorn, a fruit, cheese, chocolate, and snack tray on the first evening, and one of our famous White Oak Inn dinners on the second evening. We include our "Pampering Package" of a full massage for each lady and a makeup and skin care consultation. The complete cost including taxes and gratuities is $310 a person, based on two ladies per guestroom or four ladies sharing a cottage.

The Amish Experience
The backroads close to the inn are filled with small Amish home-based businesses.  Often the only clue to their existence is a hand-lettered sign at the roadside.  We've compiled a half-day driving tour from the inn's driveway that takes you through the scenic countryside, with stops along the way at various farms and stores.   We'll point the way to local farm market stands, bulk food stores, basket-weavers, orchards, bakeries, greenhouses, furniture-makers and more.   You'll visit the places where the Amish themselves buy food and supplies and perhaps find a bargain or two for yourself.   You'll end your tour at a local Amish home, where you'll enjoy a complete Amish home-cooked meal and have the opportunity to talk to your hosts about their lifestyle and customs.   This package can be added to any stay at the inn.   We request 4 days notice to give us time to contact the Amish cook   (remember - they don't have phones!).

There is a minimum charge of $150 for the meal in the Amish Home
Cost for 1 to 3 guests is $150 total
Cost for 4 or more guests is $39 a person
