Dining at The White Oak Inn, our Ohio bed and breakfast inn, will become one of the most treasured memories of your visit.

An overnight stay at our bed and breakfast in Ohio's Amish Country always includes one of our hearty country breakfasts. They are generous in portion, made from local farm-fresh eggs and produce and herbs from our garden. The smell of muffins or scones baking wafts up the staircase every morning. We offer two choices of main course daily, one sweet and one savory, each accompanied by Amish-style peppered bacon or sausage. The dishes may be a Stuffed French Toast, Artichoke Tomato Strata, Herb-scrambled Eggs with Tomato Basil Sauce, Lemon Pancakes with warm Berry Sauce, or another of our delectable choices. Fresh fruit, our specialty roast coffee, and hot teas accompany all our breakfasts. For light eaters, we always offer a selection of hot and cold cereals.

No stay at the Inn would be complete without experiencing at least one dinner. Whether it's to celebrate a special event such as an anniversary or birthday, a gathering of friends, or just a time to relax and unwind, you'll enjoy delicious food served at an unhurried pace. Menus are planned daily to take advantage of the finest produce, meat, and fish available. Fresh herbs and vegetables from the Inn's garden are used in season, and we buy local products whenever possible. All our soups, salad dressings, and desserts are made right here at the Inn, many from treasured family recipes.

We are happy to accommodate special dietary requests, such as for vegetarian, low-fat, or low-sugar meals.

Dinner generally costs between $35 and $45 a person for a complete four-course meal including non-alcoholic beverages.

ROMANTIC DINNER BASKETS
Picture a wicker basket, cloth napkins, real china, silverware, and glassware. Now picture it filled with a generous bounty of food items including a hot main course. It's perfect for two lovers who just want to be alone together, or it's a great solution for those who may not be sure whether they'll arrive in time for dinner in the dining room. Baskets include a hot crusty loaf, bottle of sparkling cider or juice, fruit and cheese plate, hot entree such as Roast Cornish Game Hens or Triple-Cheese Baked Pasta, salad, dessert, cookies, and chocolate. You're welcome to enjoy your basket in your room or cottage, or any other location in the inn or gardens you'd like.

WINE
For your convenience, we can arrange to have a selection of special California wines delivered to the Inn for you to enjoy during your stay. These are high-quality unique wines from limited-production boutique wineries. We'll have them chilled and waiting for your arrival. The wines are yours to drink during your stay, enjoy with dinners at the Inn, or take home at the end of your visit. The cost is approximately $70 including shipping and tax for a selection of three bottles.

PRIVATE WINE TASTINGS AND DINNERS
In addition to our regularly scheduled wine and cheese weekends, we can arrange private wine tasting parties and wine pairing dinners for 4 - 24 guests. Wine tastings can be accompanied by fruit and cheese, appetizers, desserts, or paired with a full four, five, or six-course dinner. Please call the innkeepers for more information.

Please note that all wine sales and tastings are conducted by a third party distributor. The White Oak Inn is not licensed to sell alcoholic beverages directly to our guests.

AFTERNOON TEAS
An afternoon tea is perfect for your Red Hat group, an office party, a bridal or baby shower, or just a get-together with your best friends. We feature fresh-from-the-oven scones, our own special recipe lemon curd, Scottish shortbread, dainty tea sandwiches, and an assortment of sweet treats. (Minimum of 12 guests please.)

CATERING & PRIVATE PARTIES
We welcome parties and special events, including weddings, family reunions, Christmas parties, rehearsal dinners, and anniversary celebrations. We can accommodate up to 40 guests indoors. From May to October, larger parties can be held in tents on the inn grounds. We will be happy to arrange all of your special event needs including photography, catering, flowers, decorating, tent and other rentals, and music. MEETINGS & RETREATS
The Inn is an ideal place to hold business meetings or retreats for up to 20 guests. All-inclusive meeting packages start at $185 per person per day.
